We're looking for passionate, motivated professionals who are committed to making a career in Allied Health Assistance and enjoy working collaboratively alongside experienced clinicians.With more than 20 years of Allied Health excellence, 14 clinics across NSW and Tasmania, and a team of over 200 professionals, we're proud to provide industry-leading support, professional development and career progression opportunities.About The RoleAs an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the supervision of qualified Allied Health professionals to deliver evidence-based therapy programs and support clients across a variety of clinical settings.You will play an integral role in helping clients build independence, improve their quality of life and achieve their individual goals while working alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeAssisting clinicians with the delivery of individual and group-based therapy programsImplementing treatment plans under the supervision of qualified Allied Health professionalsSupporting clients to achieve their therapy goalsPreparing therapy resources and treatment environmentsCompleting progress notes and maintaining accurate clinical documentationCollaborating with clinicians across multiple Allied Health disciplinesBuilding positive relationships with clients, families,



carers and key stakeholdersPromoting client independence through high-quality therapy supportAbout YouWe're seeking someone who is passionate about Allied Health Assistance as a long-term career and enjoys working within a collaborative clinical environment.Ideally, You Will HaveA Certificate III or Certificate IV in Allied Health AssistanceApproximately 2-4 years' experience working as an Allied Health Assistant or in a similar support rolePrevious experience supporting Allied Health clinicians in a healthcare, disability or community settingA strong understanding of person-centred care and evidence-based practiceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsThe ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamA current driver's licence and access to a vehicleA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening CheckAustralian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyWe also welcome applicants with transferable experience from health, education, teaching, childcare or disability support backgrounds who are looking to establish a long-term career as an Allied Health Assistant.Why Join Optimum Health Solutions?
