Your Role as a Registered NurseAs a Registered Nurse, you will lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that supports the health, wellbeing, dignity and independence of our residents.
Working permanent night shifts, you will provide holistic nursing care using a biopsychosocial approach, oversee clinical outcomes, support care staff, and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and evidence-based care aligned with Wesley Mission Queensland's Model of Care and values.

families and multidisciplinary teamsStrong clinical decision-making, problem-solving and organisational skillsAbility to prioritise workload and respond effectively to changing resident needsCommitment to person-centred care, continuous improvement and quality outcomesKnowledge of, or ability to quickly develop knowledge of, aged care standards, legislation and accreditation requirementsAlignment with Wesley Mission Queensland's vision, mission and valuesA Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!
Previous experience in residential aged careKnowledge of dementia care, palliative care, wound management, infection prevention and pain managementExperience leading teams within an aged care environmentCurrent Driver's LicenceAdditional qualifications or training relevant to aged care nursingEssential RequirementsCurrent registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy, including applicable aged care and NDIS screening requirementsWesley Mission Queensland brings together people who want to make a difference in the lives of others.
