Are you an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant looking to make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes? Bundaberg Hospital is seeking dynamic and innovative clinicians to lead our Post Operative Discharge Support Service within Surgical Services & Intensive Care. In this rewarding role, you will provide expert clinical leadership, coordinate postoperative discharge planning, and support patients transitioning safely from hospital to home. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will help ensure high-quality, patient-centred care that reduces avoidable readmissions and enhances the patient experience.

Your opportunity:

- The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a clinical leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient centred clinical practice specific to Post Operative Discharge Support Service (PODSS).
- The CNC demonstrates sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and provides clinical leadership, advice and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing and/or midwifery services which are consistent with contemporary standards, guidelines, relevant legislation and best practice.

Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) or Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable).

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $174,208 p.a., comprising salary between $140,631 - $152,684 p.a. (f/t)



or salary rates between $70.92 - $77.00 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f., or Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
