Springsure Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis, starting as soon as possible through to 27 September 2026. This is a hands-on ED role where you'll work across triage, resuscitation, and acute patient care in a rural healthcare setting. You'll bring strong emergency nursing skills and a commitment to delivering quality care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification and demonstrated competence in resuscitation
- Proven experience in emergency nursing,



including triage assessment and patient prioritisation
- Proficiency with IV cannulation and emergency clinical procedures
- Experience in rural nursing and aged care settings, with understanding of the unique demands of both
- Current aged care check or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or equivalent
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in Emergency Nursing
