Supported by a centralised Finance Shared Services hub, the organisation is currently driving a global finance transformation to streamline ERP infrastructure, standardise compliance, and modernise systems across multi-currency operating entities.

The Role

Reporting to senior finance leadership, this Melbourne-based role serves as the global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision). Functioning as the bridge between systems technical capability and commercial financial execution, you will initially deep dive into international operations to resolve ERP friction points, reduce reliance on external consultancies, and establish standardized global workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Systems Optimisation & ERP Strategy: Conduct diagnostics on global NAV setups, streamline operational modules, and support cross-platform integrations.
- Project Accounting & Revenue Recognition: Standardise system processes for complex, long-term project contracts. Configure ERP architecture to ensure strict compliance with IFRS 15 / AASB 15 (Point-In-Time and Over-Time revenue mechanics), milestone tracking, and WIP recording.
- Global & Cross-Border Banking Support: Manage multi-currency, multi-entity ERP setups to align system workflows seamlessly with multinational banking networks.




- Shared Services Upskilling: Deliver targeted training and knowledge transfer to offshore Finance Shared Services teams (APAC) and regional business units to embed operational best practices.

Your Profile

- Proven expert-level functional capability and administration experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is essential. Prior exposure to Epicor or Acumatica is highly advantageous.
- CA or CPA qualification (or international equivalent) with deep practical knowledge of long-term project accounting, WIP mechanics, and IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles.
- Experience operating within complex, multi-currency international business structures and collaborating alongside offshore Shared Services Centers.
- Robust stakeholder influence with the ability to translate technical ERP capabilities into practical, commercial finance outcomes.
