Our client, Texas Hospital, is seeking an Assistant in Nursing to join their aged care team in Queensland on a four-week contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aged care experience to contribute to a healthcare setting that prioritises quality patient care. The role runs from 28 September 2026 and offers up to 80 hours per fortnight, with travel and accommodation arranged from Brisbane.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in aged care settings
- Solid understanding of aged care protocols and best practice standards
- Ability to provide compassionate, person-centred support to older adults
- Reliable and flexible approach to shift work and scheduling
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a healthcare team

Preferred Qualifications

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Working with Children Check or equivalent clearance as required by the employer
