Lockhart & District Hospital in regional NSW is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute care team on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an in-charge role that will see you take on clinical leadership responsibilities while delivering direct patient care in a busy, agile environment. If you have solid ED or acute care experience, triage expertise, and the confidence to lead a shift, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA




- Demonstrated experience in Emergency Department, Acute, or Aged Care nursing
- Proven in-charge or shift leadership experience
- Essential triage experience and competence with triage assessment
- Strong clinical decision-making and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
