Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) in Queensland is preparing for a significant digital transformation with the go-live of its integrated electronic medical record (ieMR) system across the Maternity service. The hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join the team as a floorwalking support specialist for a six-week contract beginning 19 October 2026. This is a hands-on role where you'll be embedded with clinical staff during the critical transition period, helping them navigate the current system and build confidence in a fully digital environment.

Preferred Requirements





- Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
- Hands-on experience using ieMR in a fully digital Queensland Health facility within the last 12 months
- Strong technical confidence with ieMR workflows and functionality across maternity settings
- Ability to support and reassure clinical staff during system transition and change
- Not currently employed by Queensland Health through an agency (direct Queensland Health employees are not eligible)

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Midwifery with current AHPRA registration
- Formal training or certification in ieMR system support or clinical informatics
- Previous experience in a go-live support or change management role within healthcare
