Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its renal and haemodialysis unit on a 12-week contract, commencing as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to deliver specialist acute care in a busy renal service, working with patients requiring intermittent haemodialysis (IHD) in a hospital setting. The role is based in Wagga Wagga, NSW, and suits a clinician with senior haemodialysis nursing experience who is ready to make an immediate impact.

- Deliver acute intermittent haemodialysis care in a high-acuity renal unit
- Work with the Fresenius 5008 machine in a hands-on clinical role
- 12-week contract with flexible start date to suit the right candidate

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Senior-level haemodialysis nursing experience,



with demonstrated competence in patient assessment and machine management
- Recent, hands-on experience operating the Fresenius 5008 machine is essential
- Proven ability to deliver acute intermittent haemodialysis in a hospital workplace
- Strong clinical communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary renal team

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or certification in renal nursing or haemodialysis nursing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
