Must have experience as a Demolition Project Manager.Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Manager - Demolition to join their growing business. Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building, government, industrial, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a challenging projects. Types of projects are predominantly demolition with typical values from $1m to $20m+ and you will typically be running one large project or 2 to 3 smaller ones. Previous experience of delivering a $20m+ demolition as a no.1 is ideal. Must have previous demolition experience. It will be a Project Manager delivery role, no need to have estimating experience. Will be working between head office and site visits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working on tenders Planning and scheduling of construction activities Management of site project teams Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management Preparation of management reports Resolving site issues in a timely manner Liaising with key clients and stakeholders Coordinating internal and external resources Business development Recruitment and mentoring of teams Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar 5 – 15+ years’ management experience on demolition and civil construction projects with a project value of $1m to $20m+ Proven demolition experience Project management qualifications will be advantageous Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate Effective problem solving abilities Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations High level of organisation and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click on “Apply” to submit your resume.
