About the Company:
Our client is a renowned food manufacturer specializing in providing premium in-flight meals to the world's leading airlines. Committed to quality, safety, and innovation, they offer a collaborative workplace that values professionalism and career development.

Position Details:
Type: Temporary ongoing role with potential for permanent employment
Shifts: Various shifts available, including:
Day Shift: 07:00
Afternoon Shift: 12:00

Location: Mascot, NSW
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and assemble meals according to specific flight and dietary requirements
Follow recipes and production instructions meticulously to ensure consistency and quality
Perform manual handling tasks, including repetitive lifting of up to 25kg, safely and efficiently
Maintain strict adherence to HACCP and OHS policies to ensure a safe and compliant working environment
Work efficiently under tight deadlines, adjusting to schedule changes seamlessly
Manage production volumes, stock levels, and ingredient quantities accurately
Conduct ongoing quality control checks throughout the meal preparation process
Supervise and support Catering Assistants, fostering teamwork and high standards of service





Qualifications and Skills:
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Proven recent experience in high-volume kitchens or food manufacturing environments
Ability to complete a 2-hour onsite trial to demonstrate skills
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including on-call and overtime as required
Ability to pass Medical and Police Checks required
Full working rights in Australia
Strong work ethic with reliability, initiative, and a positive attitude
Passionate about food quality and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
