Tumut Area Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team in Tumut, NSW on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic ED setting where you'll apply your clinical skills across triage, assessment, and patient care. The role requires specific training in ETEK Triage, DETECT, and ECAT protocols, which are essential to the department's operations.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA




- Demonstrated experience working in an Emergency Department
- Competency or willingness to complete ETEK Triage training
- Ability to undertake DETECT and ECAT training as required by the department
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience with emergency triage systems and protocols
