About the Role
Sydney Education is the education and training service for Sydney Local Health District (SLHD). Sydney Education offers over 300 courses per year and has a comprehensive range of both clinical and non-clinical courses and programs using technology to improve access to professional development and to provide high fidelity learning environments. We are a delivery site of the which means that we can offer our staff Nationally Recognised qualifications.

In this role, you will deliver high quality education and training initiatives to the staff of SLHD to ensure that they have the skills required to deliver or support the delivery of high-quality patient and family centered care.
You will be the development and delivery of education in the Professional Practice and Development portfolio. You will also support the delivery of the Sydney Education Strategic Plan.

Ideal Candidate
- A degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Commitment to professional development of self and others including reflective practice and the ability to identify areas for growth.
- Ability to produce high quality written documents including educational resources, evaluation reports and other documents.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior role that included the provision of workplace coaching, feedback and support as well as experience in workplace projects or service improvement initiatives.
