West Wyalong & District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute care team on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. Based in West Wyalong, NSW, this role offers the chance to work in a energetic acute setting where your clinical expertise and leadership will make a real difference. You'll be stepping into an In Charge position, bringing your ED experience and triage skills to support the hospital's emergency and acute services.

Preferred Requirements





- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Proven experience working in an Emergency Department or Acute care workplace
- Demonstrated experience in an In Charge or leadership capacity
- Current ALS2 (Advanced Life Support) training
- Solid triage experience and ability to assess and prioritise patients effectively

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in Emergency Nursing
- Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
