About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support the safe delivery of a large-scale renewable energy infrastructure project. Working closely with project teams, contractors, and site leadership, you will promote a strong safety culture, provide practical risk management support, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. This is a hands-on site-based role suited to a proactive safety professional with experience in civil, electrical, or major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the project
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
- Facilitate risk assessments and hazard identification activities
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety communications, and coaching
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and project standards
- Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting systems
- Support environmental and quality management initiatives
- Work closely with project teams to drive continuous improvement

Skills and Experience Required

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (mandatory)




- Current White Card (mandatory)
- Current Driver's Licence (mandatory)
- Diploma in Work Health and Safety (preferred)
- Electrical or civil trade background highly regarded
- Experience on substations, transmission lines, or tower projects
- Renewable energy project experience preferred
- Strong understanding of risk-based safety methodologies
- Safety Lead Auditor qualification (highly regarded)
- Certificate IV in Environmental Management (beneficial)
- Degree in Safety, Environment, Quality, Project Management, or related discipline (desirable)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
