About the role
Join a vibrant and professional team dedicated to supporting people seeking assistance with alcohol and other drug use. The Health Clinician role provides specialist assessment, care coordination, and therapeutic interventions for pregnant people and families affected by alcohol and other drug use.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed care that supports improved health and wellbeing outcomes for both parents and their children. The role involves undertaking comprehensive assessments, developing individualised care plans, and providing ongoing support throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period. Using a person-centred and holistic approach, the successful candidate will address the complex physical, emotional, social, and environmental factors that can impact the health and wellbeing of clients and their families.

Working collaboratively with maternity services, child and family health providers, and other community partners, you will be responsible for coordinating care, facilitating access to treatment and support services, and advocating for the needs of clients. A strong focus is placed on building therapeutic relationships,



promoting harm reduction strategies, strengthening protective factors, and supporting positive outcomes for children and families.
