About the Role
We are looking for a part-time AI Officer who will work closely with leaders across the business. You will help drive our AI journey by researching, testing, implementing and supporting AI-powered solutions. You will play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing manual processes and helping employees embrace new technologies.
This role is an initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
- Research emerging AI tools and technologies relevant to our industry
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve business processes
- Assist in the implementation of AI solutions across departments
- Develop AI prompts, workflows and standard operating procedures
- Train and support employees in the use of AI tools
- Monitor AI usage, effectiveness and return on investment
- Work with managers to identify productivity and efficiency improvements
- Stay up to date with AI trends and recommend innovative solutions
About you
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Passionate about AI and emerging technologies
- Comfortable researching and testing new software platforms
- Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
- Highly organised with robust attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and generative AI platforms, Microsoft 365 applications, Power Automate, Power BI, AI workflow automation tools, prompt engineering, data analysis and reporting, or process mapping and business improvement (highly desirable but not essential)
