How you can play a part

Reporting to the First Nations Education Program Manager, the Regional Program Lead is accountable for the delivery of career pathway and mentoring programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth across Southern Queensland and Northern NSW, The Regional Program Lead will play a pivotal role in fostering positive relationships between internal and external stakeholders ensuring the program’s effectiveness in the Metropolitan South region.

The Regional Program Lead provides direct advice and guidance to Student Support Officers, school staff, parents, families and community in relation to the delivery of the Indigenous Beyond the Broncos Programs.

In this role, you will:

- Lead the delivery and performance of regional programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes, compliance with contractual obligations and achievement of organisational KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, schools, government agencies, community organisations and industry partners.
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to Student Support Officers and regional team members to foster engagement, capability and performance.
- Represent the Brisbane Broncos and Beyond the Broncos programs through stakeholder engagement activities, community events, meetings and partnership initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver program objectives, strengthen partnerships and maximise participant outcomes.
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate regional program data to identify trends, measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all program operations, records and reporting are accurate,



timely and compliant with contractual, organisational and government requirements.
- Lead strategic stakeholder engagement across the region, influencing key decision-makers and maintaining strong relationships with education and government leaders.
- Contribute to the development of program resources, presentations, proposals and initiatives that enhance program delivery and sustainability.
- Promote a safe, inclusive and values-driven culture by demonstrating visible leadership, sound decision-making and a commitment to the Brisbane Broncos values.

To be considered

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience leading community, education or government-funded programs, with accountability for performance, compliance and achieving contractual outcomes.
- Experience building and maintaining trusted relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, schools, government representatives, community organisations and other key stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach, mentor and develop high-performing teams across multiple locations.
- Robust knowledge and understanding of the educational, social and cultural factors impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and their outcomes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in program coordination, project delivery, reporting and performance monitoring, including the interpretation and analysis of program data.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and risk management capability, with the ability to exercise sound judgement in complex environments.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills,



with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, with the ability to prepare reports, presentations and stakeholder communications.
- The ability to work autonomously while remaining collaborative, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Education, Community Services, Human Services or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
