Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Business Services / public practice accounting firm based in Adelaide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Intermediate to Senior Accountant to join their Business Services division.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals





- Preparation and review of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)

- Tax planning and advisory work for a range of clients across various industries

- Liaising directly with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships

- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and budgets/forecasts

- Reviewing work prepared by graduates and junior accountants (Senior level)

- Supporting Managers and Partners on ad hoc advisory projects

- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and ATO requirements

About You

- CA/CPA qualified, or actively working towards completion

- Minimum 3-6 years' experience in an Australian public practice environment

- Robust technical knowledge of Australian tax law and accounting standards

- Proficiency with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)

- Excellent communication skills, to liaise directly with clients
