An established maintenance and construction business, we specialise in commercial and domestic maintenance projects focusing mainly on domestic properties with building defects valued up to $300,000. Projects typically include waterproofing, balcony and bathroom rebuilds, roofing, cladding repairs, structural remediation works, etc.

A trade background is desirable, and you must have knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC etc. This is the ideal job for any tradesperson or master handyman who wants to relinquish the physical component of their job and focus on site supervising /project managing.

The successful candidate must display an appealing confidence to clients of his ability to understand the works required and to supervise those works.

Key skills required to be successful in this position in order of DMC preference:

- Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrating a high ability to liaise and communicate with clients and in a timely manner.





- An aptitude to develop, establish and nurture client relationships.

- Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.

- Ability to manage suppliers and sub-contracted trades to strict schedules.

- Ability to supervise/manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Ability to establish work schedules for each project, and maintain job records, photos, etc.

- Meticulous attention to detail with a proven track record of following projects through to completion.

- Deliver projects on time and on budget.

- Ability to read and interpret construction documentation, plans, specifications, engineering, etc.

- Computer skills – office suite (Microsoft 365) and general knowledge of job management software.

- A background in the insurance defects industry is highly desirable
