The role:

Working as part of a professional and supportive team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality education and care programs that promote children's learning, development and wellbeing.

In both roles, you will:

- Uphold the safety, rights and wellbeing of all children and promote a culture of child safety with zero tolerance for child abuse and neglect.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Deliver meaningful play-based learning experiences that support children's development, wellbeing and sense of belonging.
- Create engaging and welcoming learning environments that promote exploration, curiosity and discovery.
- Actively supervise children to ensure their health, safety and wellbeing.
- Document and reflect on children's learning and development.
- Collaborate with families to support positive outcomes for children.
- Commit to your own qualified growth and development.
- Always work in line with Lady Gowrie Tasmania's policies, procedures and the National Quality Framework.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
- Design, implement and evaluate educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Work closely with educators and families to support each child's individual learning and development.
- Use intentional teaching strategies to extend children's learning, language and critical thinking.
- Lead curriculum planning and contribute to pedagogical practice across the service.




- Fulfil your responsibilities as a mandated reporter, including identifying and responding to children who may be at risk.

As an Educator, you will:
- Provide nurturing, responsive and respectful care for children.
- Support the implementation of educational programs and daily routines.
- Foster children's learning through engaging play-based experiences.
- Contribute to observations and documentation of children's learning.
- Support a positive and collaborative team culture.

What We're Looking For
- ACECQA-approved Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
- Previous experience in an education and care setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (Child-Related Activity).
- Commitment to child safety, inclusion and continuous improvement.
