We're looking for a creative and curious Learning Design Specialist to join our team and help bring learning to life across Yo-Chi.

This is a role where you'll take ideas, information and business needs and turn them into engaging, interactive learning experiences that people actually want to complete. You'll work across the full learning design process, from researching and writing content through to storyboarding, building, testing and launching learning across the business.

You'll have plenty of room to bring your own ideas, creativity and voice to the role. We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to think differently, writes with personality and understands that good learning should be useful, engaging and fun.

This role is based in Queensland, with a flexible working approach that combines working from home with team-oriented days in a shared office space. We value flexibility, while also knowing that some of the best ideas come from working together.

What you'll do:

- Draft learning content and storyboard it end to end, turning raw information into structured, engaging learning
- Research topics and develop clear, accurate content from briefs and agreed outlines
- Concept and pitch interactive learning ideas, thinking creatively about how content can come to life
- Storyboard and map out interactive concepts for authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise
- Build and format learning content in our authoring tools, including working with HTML blocks
- Design interactive elements, knowledge checks and quizzes that genuinely support learning
- Support the rollout of new learning across the business, from final checks through to launch
- Run first-line testing and quality assurance, reviewing your own work before it goes to sign-off
- Upload, publish and version learning content within our LMS
- Keep existing learning content accurate and current through ongoing updates, reviews and iterations
- Feed ideas into planning and scoping, bringing your perspective early in the process




- Support the wider Learning Design team and pitch in wherever the work requires
- An eye for visual presentation is a nice to have when storyboarding
- Help develop a fresh, Gen-Z voice across our learning content and how we communicate with learners

What we're looking for:

- 2-4 years' experience in content creation, learning design or a similar environment
- Strong ability to research and develop engaging content from scratch
- A creative thinker who can turn information and concepts into interactive learning experiences
- Experience with learning authoring tools, ideally Articulate Storyline and Rise
- An understanding of how to storyboard and structure learning for different audiences
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone and voice for different learners
- A great eye for detail and pride in producing polished, high quality work
- Someone who is curious, collaborative and happy to share ideas
- A fresh perspective on how Gen-Z audiences consume content, learn and engage
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Genially or Chameleon would be a bonus
- An appreciation for visual presentation is a plus, but a design background isn't required
