1AAA Training (Formerly Urban E-learning) is a dynamic and industry-leading company and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) established for tweny years, specialising in online, face-to-face and blended training solutions. Our RTO is positioned mainly in the compliance field, with nation-leading courses currently in the transport, construction, hospitality and work health and safety industries. Additionally, we create cutting-edge customised induction programs for organisations, as well as other strategic web and online projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to work for an RTO that has excellent respect for its employees, students, and clients. We are currently recruiting for an remote online Assessor to work within our Assessment and Training team. This could be a Full-Time or Part-Time role, potentially with flexible hours that can suit your requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience in the construction and logistics industries - see more detail below. You will specifically be able to demonstrate the types of experience listed in the criteria below, in order to comply with our training regulator requirements.

Also, you will need to be willing to complete some industry work experience from time-to-time, in order to be qualified and to stay current, as an Assessor for our main courses in construction (White Card), and Logistics (Chain of Responsibility and related courses).

The successful candidate will also be required to assist with student and client support queries and compliance activities in relation to issuing Construction White Cards.

This role does NOT require face-to-face training and mostly will be conducted from home as a computer and phone-based role, so you will need a home-office setup with strong, reliable internet and phone service (computer-based phone tech supplied). You will also need a computer/laptop,



ideally with two screens to conduct and record assessments with ease, or, if required this can be supplied.

Having said that, if you enjoy some occasional face-to-face training, there most likley would be opportunities to do that from tiime to time in the CoR/Logistics space.

The role would suit someone who has worked in the construction and logistics industries for a period of time but is looking to utilise their experience within more family-friendly work hours, or with less physical demands, or in a work-from-home setting rather than in office.

As an Assessor & Trainer, your main responsibilities will be to:

- Conduct online student assessments;

- Conduct video verbal student assessments; and

- Assist with support and compliance activities

The role will be primarily focused on assessing, so if standing in front of large groups training is not your thing, we would still welcome your application!

Specific selection criteria include:

- Required: Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or predecessor),



or be able to obtain this qualification prior to commencement;

- Required: To deliver White Card (WC)
Hold a White Card and/or demonstrable construction industry experience - for example working on a construction site, in a WHS advisor or coordinator role, in labouring, or in any field or environment governed by construction WHS regulations (such as warehousing that supplies construction materials). You must also hold the unit CPCCWHS2001 (or its predecessor).

To deliver Chain of Responsibility (CoR 1 & 2)
Hold the unit TLIF0009, or a relevant qualification or unit gained through an external provider such as a Certificate III in Transport and Logistics or TLIF0080, along with industry experience - for example as a driver or machine operator, in a WHS role working alongside drivers, or in any field or environment that formed part of the chain of responsibility. For the higher level (CoR 2), you must also have experience in the management of drivers and scheduling, having worked in a field or environment that directly oversaw drivers' or operators' work to ensure time and responsibilities were managed appropriately. (Note: We can arrange for you to complete either or both of these quals if you don't currently have them but you DO have the necessary demonstrated experience.)

- Experience in assessing in an RTO environment (preferred but not essential);

- High levels of attention-to-detail with the ability to work on multiple projects at once, with competing deadlines and requirements;

- An absolute commitment to going the extra mile in delivering exceptional customer service;

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with quick and efficient computer keyboarding skills; and

- Highly professional and well-presented.

Hourly rate $40 - $45/hr, and for this role we are open to either a contract arrangement with an ABN, or full or part- time permanent employment (subject to usual probationary period).
