Title: (ICT) Business System Support Officer
Employment: Full time / Ongoing
Location: Bathurst Street, Hobart TAS or Surrey Hills VIC or
Reporting to the National Manager, ICT, the ICT Business Systems Support Officer is the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance.
This is an excellent chance for an early-career ICT professional ready to take their next step, or someone who enjoys providing responsive first-level support and managing a wide-ranging workload through Zendesk. You will receive training and gain exposure to business systems, SharePoint, data analytics, Power BI, AI and a broad range of technologies within a small and cooperative ICT team.
About the Role
- Provide first-level support across Able Australia's business applications, Microsoft 365 environment, SharePoint, hardware and general ICT systems.
- Monitor and triage Zendesk requests, investigate and resolve common issues, and escalate complex or unresolved matters to ICT specialists or external providers.
- Support business-system administration, user access, and the ICT requirements associated with employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Test system upgrades, enhancements and changes, documenting results and identified issues.
- Maintain knowledge articles, user guides and support resources, and assist with the delivery of system training and guidance.
- Assist with system reporting, Power BI reports, data activities, and ICT and Transformation projects under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Work within a small team where you can build practical experience beyond a traditional helpdesk role.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
- Experience providing first-level ICT, helpdesk or business-systems support,
including using a ticketing system to manage enquiries.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365, business applications, user-access administration and contemporary technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and determine when escalation is required.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and work effectively within a geographically dispersed team.
- Certificate III or IV in Information Technology, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Previous experience within disability, community services, healthcare or another multi-site operational environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
