The Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing supplier and vendor relationships while supporting purchasing activities across the business. This role has a strong focus on vendor management, supplier compliance, commercial negotiation and identifying cost-saving opportunities, alongside general purchasing and supply chain responsibilities.

- Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers, ensuring quality, service and commercial value
- Set up and manage vendor onboarding processes, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are completed
- Manage supplier compliance, including insurance certificates, licences and other required documentation
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and monitor compliance and insurance expiry dates within the ERP system
- Negotiate supplier pricing, terms and agreements to achieve cost savings and favourable commercial outcomes
- Lead commercial negotiations for longer-term service agreements and operational suppliers
- Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs, improve vendor performance and strengthen supplier relationships
- Support purchasing activities including sourcing, obtaining quotations, negotiating, ordering and supplier coordination
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure products and services are available when required and at the right cost
- Monitor supplier performance and identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks
- Support inventory and purchasing processes to help minimise stock shortages and excess inventory




- Review existing processes and drive continuous improvement across purchasing and vendor management
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information within the ERP system
- Provide support across the wider Supply Chain team and business as required

About You

- Trade or commercial background in supply chain, logistics, purchasing or procurement
- Minimum 4 years' experience in purchasing and/or vendor management
- Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating pricing, terms and service agreements
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and demonstrate cost savings
- Experience with vendor onboarding, supplier compliance and maintaining documentation
- Confident communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience across freight, logistics, inventory or operational suppliers advantageous
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including solid Excel capability
- Experience with SAP, Navision/Business Central advantageous
