The Role
As the Property/Governance Paralegal, you will be responsible for coordinating and strengthening governance and compliance frameworks across the business.
Your duties will include:
- Maintaining licenses and regulatory registrations
- Acting as the central point of contact for external auditors
- Monitoring legislative, regulatory, licensing, and audit requirements
- Interpreting different legislations across each State as well as in New Zealand
- Managing and reviewing regulatory and compliance portals
- Supporting acquisitions, new office locations, and evolving operating models
- Assisting the business to implement and maintain best-practice governance processes
- Liaising with external Legal Counsels
- General administrative duties
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 5 years as a Property, Regulatory or Compliance Paralegal is essential (or a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator, Governance Coordinator, or similar would be highly regarded too)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of responsibilities

- Competitive salary based on experience (between $90,000 - $105,000 including Super)
- Flexible hours and can work 4 or 5 days a week
- Reporting directly to the CFO and CEO
