About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent Underground Shift Electrician position, working on a 2/2 roster with FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville.



The role is heavily underground-focused - approximately 90% of your time will be spent below surface, working on the development, installation and maintenance of underground infrastructure.

You'll be joining a supportive team led by experienced leaders, at a site with a genuine focus on culture and development as the project ramps up.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation and maintenance of underground electrical infrastructure
- Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
- Jumbo box starter installs and maintenance
- Pump, fan and vent maintenance
- Underground drill servicing
- General fault-finding and breakdown response across underground fixed and mobile plant

About You

Essential

- Trade-qualified Electrician
- Underground electrical experience - this can come from mining, industrial, tunnelling or similar underground environments, as long as you've worked underground before
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
- Willingness to commit to a 2/2 FIFO roster from Brisbane or Townsville

Desirable

- Experience with jumbo box starters, UG drill servicing, pumps, fans and vents
- HV switching ticket
