Established multi-disciplinary construction & maintenance firm A Grade Commercial Office Clients/Buildings Supervising QLD Lift maintenance & Height Safety operations and technicians Supervising the QLD life maintenance & Height Safety team, coordinating projects and service delivery while maintaining solid client relationships and ensuring high standards of safety and quality. Our client is an established player in the maintenance and construction industry who are known for their high-quality building services including remedial, construction, maintenance, life services and height safety services. They are now seeking an experienced Lift Maintenance Supervisor to join their growing Queensland operations. Reporting to the National Lift Maintenance Manager, QLD Operations Manager and Director, this role will involve supervising the QLD Lift Maintenance and Height Safety team, coordinating services and projects, scheduling and forecasting works, procurement, assisting with pricing, client liaison, subcontractor coordination, administration and ensuring the successful delivery of works. The candidate will supervise lift maintenance activities and Height Safety technicians, coordinate works both on and off site, monitor jobs in progress, ensure technicians have the appropriate tools and equipment, and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors. This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone who is organised, commercially minded and capable of leading a team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, customer service and efficient project delivery. Would suit someone who is from a trade background such as an electrician, fitter, mechanic etc who ideally has had experience in the lift or crane industry. Responsibilities include but not limited to:



Supervise lift maintenance and height safety staff Coordinate services and project delivery Coordinate procurement for Height Safety and lift maintenance works Assist Managers with pricing works Develop and maintain strong relationships with lift maintenance and Height Safety clients Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures Prepare SWMS for every job prior to commencement of works Service, maintain, repair and/or certify lifts and Height Safety equipment as required Complete customer permit forms and site documentation as required Coordinate and complete customer site inductions when required Work closely with Management to ensure successful delivery of all works The ideal candidate: Previous experience in lift maintenance, height safety, building maintenance, construction or a related industry Working at heights experience Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities Previous experience supervising staff and coordinating projects or service delivery Strong commercial/business acumen Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, suppliers and subcontractors Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently Strong customer service and relationship management skills Strong attention to detail and a hands-on, can-do approach Understanding and commitment to OHS&E; requirements and company policies and procedures Experience with job management systems would be advantageous Ability to manage staff performance, job progress and service delivery Ability to prepare SWMS and ensure all required permits, inductions and documentation are completed prior to works Ability to monitor job profitability, expenditure, materials and equipment Strong administration and report writing skills Ability to maintain accurate records, job reports and compliance documentation Available to work a reasonable amount of overtime, including weekends, when required Willingness to participate in an on-call roster If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click “Apply” to submit your resume.
