ROLE PURPOSE
The purpose of the Senior Planning & Activation Executive role is to manage the end-to-end delivery of media campaigns, ensuring activity is executed accurately, efficiently and aligned to client objectives.
The Senior Planning & Activation Executive is responsible for campaign management, financial administration, media delivery and stakeholder management, while identifying opportunities to optimise performance and drive strong client outcomes.
The role is expected to work independently across campaign implementation and financial processes, whilst providing guidance and support to Coordinators. It also plays an important part in developing strong relationships with media partners, clients and internal teams.
WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE?
- You will manage end-to-end campaign delivery across offline and digital channels, ensuring all activity is implemented accurately and aligned to client objectives.
- You will reconcile campaign delivery and ensure final delivered plans accurately reflect billings.
- You will maintain accurate budget tracking, campaign spend management and financial administration processes.
- You will check proformas during invoicing periods and action any required changes in a timely manner.
- You will attend to account queries promptly and ensure outstanding queries are resolved efficiently.
- You will complete final buy documentation and enter rates into trading sheets following campaign bookings.
- You will identify and communicate savings opportunities that can be reinvested or returned to clients.
- You will monitor campaign performance against objectives and KPIs and identify opportunities for optimisation, efficiencies and added value.
- You will assist in producing campaign reporting, insights and post-campaign learnings.
- You will develop strong relationships with media partners, clients and internal stakeholders.
- You will collaborate closely with Planning, Investment, Digital and Client teams to ensure campaigns are delivered seamlessly.
- You will manage media partner communications to ensure bookings, campaign changes and delivery requirements are actioned efficiently.
- You will provide guidance, support and coaching to Coordinators while assisting with workload management and prioritisation.
- You will act as a positive role model, sharing knowledge and supporting the ongoing development of junior team members.
- You will maintain exceptional attention to detail across all campaign delivery, financial and administrative processes.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 1.5-3 years' experience within a media agency or related environment.
- Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape.
- Experience working across campaign implementation, media activation and financial administration.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational, project management and time management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
