Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site General Practitioner role based at Chapman Family Medical Centre in Canberra. The General Practitioner will provide holistic primary care.

Qualifications

- Fracgp or equivalent
- Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of conditions across the lifespan.




- Experience or training in Family Medicine and community-based care, with a focus on preventive health and chronic disease management.
- Understanding of Nursing and allied health roles to support collaborative, team-based patient care.
- Commitment to ongoing Training, professional development, and adherence to current clinical guidelines.
- Medical degree and relevant specialist qualifications in General Practice or Family Medicine.
- Current medical registration and eligibility to practice in Australia, including appropriate professional indemnity coverage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a respectful, inclusive approach to patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment, demonstrating sound clinical judgment, organization, and reliability.
