Tumut Area Health Service is seeking a Registered Midwife to join their maternity team in Leeton, NSW on a contract basis for 6 to 12 weeks, with an ASAP start date. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy maternity service, supporting women through pregnancy, labour, and birth in a regional healthcare setting.

- Contract position, 6 to 12 weeks duration, starting as soon as possible
- Hands-on birthing experience in a regional maternity workplace
- Based in Leeton, NSW, serving the local community

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in birthing and labour support
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary maternity team
- Solid clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a maternity setting
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a regional health service

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current CPR and emergency resuscitation certification
- Previous experience in regional or rural maternity services is advantageous
