Bielby is experiencing a period of sustained growth, supported by a strong pipeline of infrastructure projects and continued expansion into New South Wales. Building on over 40 years of successful major project delivery, we are seeking Estimators at all levels to join our growing NSW Pre Contracts team.

This is a unique opportunity to join Bielby's NSW business during an exciting stage of growth. With a significant pipeline of opportunities and ambitious plans for the region, you'll play an important role in helping establish the relationships, processes, systems and project portfolio that will underpin the next phase of our success.

Working alongside experienced leaders within Pre Contracts, Engineering and Commercial, you'll contribute to major civil infrastructure tenders across roads, bridges, transport, water and renewable energy projects. Whether you're developing your estimating career or already leading complex bids, you'll have the opportunity to help win landmark projects, influence how we operate and be part of building a high-performing team that will shape Bielby's future in New South Wales.

What You'll Do

- Support the preparation of estimates, tenders and bid submissions for major civil infrastructure projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation to identify project scope and requirements.
- Undertake quantity take-offs and pricing of labour, plant, materials and subcontract packages.
- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Support the development of construction methodologies, staging plans and delivery strategies.
- Participate in tender reviews,



risk assessments and value engineering initiatives.
- Assist with procurement and market engagement activities.
- Analyse project risks and opportunities to support competitive and commercially sound tender submissions.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across estimating systems, processes and methodologies.

What You'll Bring

- Degree qualified or currently studying Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Experience preparing estimates within civil construction or infrastructure industries.
- Strong understanding of estimating principles, procurement and project delivery.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork capability.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite capability.
