Our client is a rapidly growing healthcare organisation based in Carindale, dedicated to delivering high-quality services and support to the community. With continued expansion across their operations, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Officer to join their finance team immediately.

This is an excellent prospect to step into a varied and hands-on finance role within a purpose-driven business. Commencing in a temporary capacity, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position within a short timeframe.

Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will be responsible for a broad range of finance duties including Accounts Receivable, Billings, Collections, Accounts Payable and Reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end Accounts Receivable processing and customer invoicing

- High-volume billing and accurate processing of client and service charges

- Proactive debtor management and collections

- Investigation and resolution of account queries

- Allocation and receipting of incoming payments

- Processing supplier invoices and Accounts Payable transactions

- Preparation of supplier payment runs

- Bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations

- Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts





- Assisting with month-end reporting and finance administration

- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting compliance requirements

- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure billing accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Finance Officer or similar position

- Strong Accounts Receivable, billings and collections experience

- Exposure to Accounts Payable processing

- Solid reconciliation skills and exceptional attention to detail

- Intermediate Excel skills

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

- A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Availability to commence at short notice
