A1 Accessory Imports are looking to recruit a new High Reach Forklift Operator for our purpose-built Yatala facility. You will join our Warehouse Team and assist with daily warehouse operations, including order packing, replenishment and high-reach forklift duties. This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who can work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple tasks and maintain a calm and positive approach throughout the day.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a Toyota high-reach forklift to complete daily stock replenishment
- Safely put away and retrieve stock from racking
- Complete replenishment of picking locations to ensure warehouse workflow is maintained
- Hand-wrap pallets and prepare stock for storage or dispatch as required
- Check items for correctness, condition and completeness prior to dispatch
- Ensure all goods are securely packaged and labelled correctly
- Maintain high standards of presentation for all outgoing shipments
- Utilise RF scanners and in-house Warehouse Management Software to support workflow
- Maintain a clean, organised packing and warehouse area
- Perform manual handling, including lifting and moving stock
About you
- Proven experience operating Toyota high-reach forklifts
- Current forklift licence
- Previous warehouse experience, preferably within a fast-paced environment
- RF scanner experience
- The ability to safely and confidently operate a high-reach forklift in a busy warehouse
- A willingness to perform hands-on duties, including hand wrapping pallets and manual handling
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and daily targets
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm, focused and efficient under pressure
