IG Design Group is one of Australia's largest suppliers of catalogue and private label greeting cards, gift wrap, stationery and party supplies.

We're looking for an Area Manager to lead a team of four sales reps/merchandisers across Western Sydney and Canberra. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role where you'll grow sales with existing retail customers, open new accounts, and make sure our range is presented at its best in store.

What you'll do

- Lead, coach and motivate a team of four to grow sales profitably across the territory

- Build deep product knowledge and sell our range into retail stores

- Maintain a regular call cycle across your territory

- Deliver solid customer service and build lasting relationships with store teams

- Keep accurate forecasts, call reports and contact records

- Track competitor activity and stay ahead on service and product

What you'll bring

- Sales and merchandising experience (essential)





- People management experience (essential)

- A creative eye and attention to detail — this role involves significant merchandising

- Self-motivation and strong time management

- A current driver's licence

Regional travel is required, including a trip to Canberra roughly every two months.
