ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Sales - Internal Support person for our Sydney based branch. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to support the Sales and Operations teams. This is a pivotal role in managing our customer expectation. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering outstanding customer service and driving operational goals, together with a strong understanding of power transmissions and its industrial applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serve as a point of contact between customers, sales team, suppliers and production providing professional, responsive, and solutions-focused support.

- Prepare and coordinate quotations, correspondence, and other sales support tasks as required.

- Assist the Sales team with account/client requests & job requirements.

- Respond to customer calls, emails, pricing and delivery enquiries, product questions, general support requests, and order-related enquiries

- Create and maintain accurate information within the CRM and ERP systems through each stage of the sales and order process.





- Processing and coordinating customer orders from receipt through to delivery.

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Ability to understand technical documents, drawings, BOM’s & customer requests.

- Robust technical aptitude for power transmission products.

- Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills.

- Strong planning, prioritisation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

- Commercial awareness and an understanding of pricing, margins, and customer agreements.

- A high level of self-motivation, initiative, and proactivity.

- Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and solving issues in a timely manner.

- Highly skilled on computers and with general technology.

- Excellent English communication skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)

- Strong technical aptitude for power transmission products, with at least five (5) years of experience in the rotary equipment industry

- Experience in data entry, manufacturing or administration support role

- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in sales support or customer service roles
