FairWind are looking for an experienced electrical technicians to work with our collaborative team in Western Australia.
This will be a full time role with FairWind on site where accommodation, meals, transport and PPE are provided.
The current project will go for up to a year and we will then offer the opportunity to work on the next project for installation.
The roster is 3 weeks on and 1 week off, where transport is provided to get you home and back to site.
You will be working with a team of electrical and mechanical people to install and test cabling and terminations on newly built wind turbines. You will gain knowledge on how these systems work and also have the opportunity to find and correct faults in the switching systems.
Responsibilities
- Working with a team to build and install wind turbine tower parts and nacelles
- Installing and testing cabling and switching
- Ensuring safe and correct integration with site substation
Qualifications
- GWO training is preferred but can be provided
- Unrestricted WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- All other training or refreshes can be provided where required
