ABOUT CANNINGTON

Our Cannington operation is one of the world's largest producers of silver and lead. Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville.

Flights are direct to the onsite airport, and the mine is only 3.5 km from camp—the perfect distance for a sunset walk or run home along a purpose-built walking track. The onsite accommodation includes meal services, sports/gym facilities, swimming pool, music room, and social area.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent full-time position on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Brisbane and Townsville,



or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay shires.

As the Mine Surveyor, you will be responsible for capturing accurate spatial data and delivering high-quality survey services that support underground mine development, production activities, planning outcomes and operational decision-making.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

- Provide accurate design set-outs for mining and drilling activities
- Monitor ground movement and critical infrastructure performance
- Produce plans, survey memos, reports and 3D models for stakeholders
- Complete reconciliation activities for development and stockpiles

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Underground mining experience (desirable)
- Strong technical accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with Deswik, PointStudio and Pix4D software (desirable)
- Experience with Leica Total Stations, CALS Scanner, Elios 3, Hovermap, and drone technology (desirable)
- Robust stakeholder engagement across operational and technical teams
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Qualifications for this position are:

- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Spatial Science
- RePL license (desirable)
- Current Drivers Licence
