Dredge Robotics

Bibra Lake

Ready to get off the tools and lead the process, not just do the job?

At Dredge Robotics, we're not your typical maintenance shop.

We're a tight-knit team of problem-solvers using world-first robotic technology to clean critical water assets across mining, government, industrial, manufacturing, processing and wastewater sites, all while assets stay online and our clients save reliable downtime.

We run on low ego, high ownership. Flat structure, open doors, and plenty of room for the right person to step up, have a say, and shape how we work.

And right now, we're looking for an Asset Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator who's ready for more than just keeping the workshop ticking over.

Why this role, why now?

This is ideal for someone who:

- Has been on the tools for years – as a tradesperson, technician or maintainer and is ready to own compliance and process, not just fix what's in front of them

- Still enjoys hands-on work but wants to plan, coordinate and build systems, not spend every day on the tools

- Likes the idea of building something from the ground up

- Wants variety across inspections, compliance, planning and site work, not the same repetitive fix-and-forget

- Is thinking about their long-term career, not just the next job

The role - what you'll be doing

Based in Bibra Lake, with travel to site as required, you'll be the person who keeps our fleet compliant, inspection-ready and available on demand.

Day to day, you'll:

- Carry out hands-on inspections, testing, minor servicing and repairs across a mixed fleet: lifting gear, rescue and safety equipment, portable electrical, robotic dredging systems, vehicles and plant

- Own the compliance registers and inspection calendar, so nothing expires, lapses or gets missed

- Coordinate specialist and third-party servicing where the work sits outside your ticket

- Confirm equipment is genuinely ready, compliant, tested, defect-free – before it's mobilised to site

- Build out a rolling maintenance plan and the coordination rhythm around it, growing into planning, reliability and contractor management as the systems mature

- Complete computer-based reporting and keep accurate, auditable records in our maintenance and asset systems

You'll be trusted to own the fleet, make the call on what's urgent, and build the systems that make the next person's job easier.

What you bring

You'll likely have:

- A trade qualification (mechanical, electrical, fitting, heavy vehicle, plant or related) – or equivalent hands-on maintenance and inspection experience

- Experience maintaining mixed plant, mining, marine, industrial or mobile-equipment fleets

- Comfort working with a CMMS/EAM system for work orders and asset records (MEX experience is a bonus, not a must)

- A current driver's licence and solid Microsoft 365 skills

- A calm, organised approach, someone who can triage what matters and keep ontop of the systems and paperwork

- The mindset to build a compliance and planning function, not just tick over a workshop

If you've come from mining, marine, industrial or mobile-plant maintenance – even better.

As part of the recruitment process, you'll complete pre-employment screening, including a medical, working rights check and police clearance.

At Dredge Robotics, we value diversity and provide an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage applications from all nationalities, genders and cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
