About the Role
We require a keen and energetic Auto Electrician to join our team in our Assembly facility.
A level of maturity and trade experience is sought, as we are looking for someone who wants to work hard and help us create some of the best vehicles exploring Australia.
This role will involve installing, testing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide variety of systems within Avida vehicles, including lithium batteries, battery management systems, solar and MPPT systems, hybrid inverters, and electrical systems (12V, 24V, 48V DC and 240V AC systems).
Auto Electrician Responsibilities
- Installing vehicle wiring, harness, and component systems.
- Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
- Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.
- Working across both low-voltage DC and 240V AC electrical systems
- Maintaining a clean working environment.
- Other assembly and installation tasks as required.
- Collaborating with our Electrical Engineering Team to integrate electrical systems and components into vehicle designs efficiently and safely.
- Responding to production auto-electrical issues, solving them with your talents.
- Quality checking electrical installations.
- Contributing to our culture of continuous improvement by suggesting, identifying, and executing improvement ideas.

To ensure success as an Assembly Auto Electrician, you should have strong knowledge of up-to-date vehicle electrical systems, a good eye for detail, and the ability to problem-solve complex electrical issues. Experience working with 240V systems is highly desirable.
