About the role

Maintain and service our large, diverse fleet of 200+ heavy vehicles and plant equipment from our Bayswater base. You’ll join a small, supportive workshop team in a brand new facility, working Monday to Friday, 6am–4pm, with overtime and occasional weekend work available.

Duties

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on trucks and plant
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
- Operate diagnostic tools to assess and repair equipment efficiently
- Maintain accurate service and repair records in line with safety standards

Skills & experience

- Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Experience servicing heavy vehicles, mobile plant, or civil construction equipment




- Valid Victorian HR licence (highly regarded)
- Strong OH&S; understanding and ability to work autonomously
- Civil construction machinery experience highly regarded
