We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused ITOfficer to provide IT support across our corporate officeand remote operational sites. This role is responsible forsupporting end users, maintaining IT systems and infrastructure,and ensuring employees have access to the technology and resourcesneeded to perform their roles effectively. This is a Full TimePermanent role based at our office in Subiaco.

Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Officer will work closely with the our 3 rd party IT Managed Services Provider andNetwork and Communications consultant to support businesstechnology requirements, coordinate the resolution of technicalissues, and contribute to the delivery of reliable and secure ITservices across the business.

As Brightstar operates across both corporate and mining environments, this role provides the opportunity to work with a diverse range of employees, technologies and business applications. The successful candidate will be adaptable, customer-focused and comfortable supporting a broad range of systems and technologies solutions that enable our corporate, operational and site-based teams to work safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT technical support toemployees across corporate and operational sites.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware andsoftware.
- Provision and support user accounts,



access permissions,onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Configure, deploy and maintain laptops, mobile devices,printers and other end-user technology.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Entra ID, SharePoint,Teams and business applications.
- Assist with IT asset management, procurement, inventorycontrol and vendor coordination.
- Assist with our Network and Communications consultant withnetwork configuration, management and support.
- Liaise with external IT service providers, vendors andconsultants to coordinate support activities and technicalprojects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support andtroubleshooting technical issues in a corporate, operational ormulti-site environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience as an admin of Microsoft365, Windows 11, Entra ID, SharePoint and Teams.
- Experience with user provisioning, onboarding, offboardingand device deployment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills withthe ability to support users of varying technical ability.
- Experience managing IT assets, procurement processes andtechnology inventories.
- Robust troubleshooting, problem-solving and time managementskills with the ability to work independently.
- Exposure to mining, industrial, FIFO or multi-siteenvironments will be highly regarded.
- Understanding of network infrastructure, includingswitches, firewalls, wireless networks and connectivitytroubleshooting will be highly regarded.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to operational sites asrequired.
- Willingness to learn new things, ask lots of questions,grow your skills and build your career.
