Senior Patternmaker | Premium Womenswear -Melbourne | Permanent | Senior Level
n We're looking for an exceptional Senior Patternmaker to join a premium womenswear business and play a key role in bringing beautiful, technically complex designs to life.
n This is a hands-on role for a patternmaker with a strong creative eye, exceptional technical skills and a passion for fit, silhouette and construction.
n What you'll be doing

- Own pattern and fit development from first pattern through to production
n
- Predominantly digital patternmaking, with manual pattern cutting and draping
n
- Work closely with Design, Development and Machinists to bring concepts to life
n
- Develop and refine complex, structured and fluid garments
n
- Lead fittings and solve pattern, fit and construction challenges
n
- Grade production-ready patterns across the full size range
n
- Help maintain and elevate the brand's signature fit, silhouette and patternmaking handwriting

What we're looking for

n

n
- 5+ years' senior patternmaking experience in premium, luxury or technically complex womenswear, bridal or lingerie.
n
- Exceptional manual and digital patternmaking skills
n
- Lectra preferred, however strong Gerber or other digital system experience will be considered
n
- Advanced draping, fitting and garment construction knowledge
n
- Experience with corsetry, lingerie, bridal, occasionwear or complex womenswear highly regarded
n
- Solid understanding of fabrics, fit and construction
n
- Someone who can interpret and elevate a design, not simply execute it
n
