Take ownership of the technology that supports teaching, learning and business operations across a growing Christian College.

South Coast Baptist College is seeking an experienced IST Endpoint Administrator to join our Information Systems & Technologies (IST) team.

n

This role manages the College's endpoint environment, ensuring devices, systems and technology services are secure, reliable and fit for purpose. Working closely with the Director of Information Systems & Technologies and the broader IST team, you will provide technical expertise and support across the College.

About the role

n

Working as part of our IST team, you will:

n

n
- Manage the lifecycle, deployment and asset management of College devices.
n
- Administer endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Jamf and Google Admin Console.
n
- Manage device security, configuration, compliance and application deployment.
n
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, Active Directory and Group Policy, including staff onboarding and offboarding.
n
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support and troubleshoot complex endpoint, identity and Microsoft 365 issues.
n
- Contribute to technology planning, procurement, documentation and continuous improvement.
n
- Work collaboratively with staff, vendors and the broader IST team to deliver reliable and secure technology services.

About you

n

You are an experienced IT professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems and improving the way technology is managed and delivered.

n

You will bring:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft 365,



Microsoft Intune and Active Directory in a production environment.
n
- Experience managing endpoint devices within a centrally managed environment.
n
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, iOS and ChromeOS devices.
n
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
n
- Experience using scripting or automation to improve operational efficiency.
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work with users of varying technical knowledge.
n
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative IST team.
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
n
- A willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies and respond positively to feedback.
n
- An awareness of current and emerging technologies and cybersecurity practices.
n
- Experience working within an education environment will be highly regarded.
n

Essential requirements

n

n
- Cert IV, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
n
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar IT systems, endpoint or technical administration role is preferred.
n
- Relevant industry certifications, such as Microsoft, Apple, Google or ITIL certifications, are desirable.
n
