Mechanical Fitter - The Role

- Maintain, inspect, and repair conveyors, dock equipment, pumps, valves, compressors, and HVAC components.
n
- Diagnose mechanical faults quickly and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across warehouse operations.
n
- Read and interpret technical drawings, quality documentation, and maintenance work orders.
n
- Support planned facility shutdowns, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Uphold strict WHS standards and work collaboratively with the maintenance reliability team.

Mechanical Fitter - Hours & Pay

n

Salary: $90,000 per year + call-outs + overtime opportunities

n

Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

What You Need

n

n
- Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Cert III in Engineering or Fitter/Machinist equivalent).
n
- Proven experience in facilities, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing maintenance.
n
- Solid working knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
n
- Solid troubleshooting skills, physical fitness, and a safety-first mindset.
