We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Trade Assistant for an immediate start at Beta Hunt, supporting the site maintenance team.

Offering $45.00/hr on day shift and $51.75/hr on night shift, this is a great prospect for an experienced Underground TA looking to join a busy maintenance team on an 8:6 / 7:7 roster.

We're looking for someone who understands the demands of working underground, has a strong safety mindset and is ready to hit the ground running.

The Role

As an Underground Trade Assistant, you'll work closely with the maintenance team, providing hands-on assistance to tradespeople and supporting day-to-day underground maintenance activities.

Your duties may include:

- Assisting qualified tradespeople with maintenance activities
- Preparing tools, equipment and components for maintenance works
- Using hand and power tools
- Assisting with the removal and installation of components




- Moving equipment, parts and materials
- General manual handling and trade support
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas
- Supporting planned and breakdown maintenance activities
- Following underground site procedures and instructions
- Working safely around mobile equipment, tradespeople and other personnel
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you will need:

- Previous experience as an Underground Trade Assistant
- Working at Heights – completed within the last 2 years
- Confined Space – completed within the last 2 years
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively within an underground maintenance team
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and proactive attitude
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work
- Availability to work the 8:6 / 7:7 roster
- Ability to work both day and night shifts
- Availability to commence immediately

About You

You're an experienced Trade Assistant who is comfortable working underground and understands the importance of following site procedures and maintaining high safety standards.

You're hands-on, reliable and willing to support the maintenance team wherever required to help keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
