$36.24 -$39.01per hour (depending on experience andqualifications, junior rates may apply)

We are currentlyseeking an energetic and highly motivated ActivityOfficer for our PCYC Yarrabah Youth Club who will beresponsible for working with branch program staff to support thedelivery of targeted activities to the local community. Juniorsencouraged to apply

Your NewRole

The Activity Officerwill primarily be responsible for building community involvementand ownership of cultural activites/programs within the localcommunity. This will include the delivery and supervision of arange of programs that address the cultural needs of the localcommunity. We'recommitted to fostering a supportive, respectful, and positiveatmosphere where everyone is welcome. Every interaction with ourmembers is designed to contribute to their sense of belonging andgrowth. By joining us,

AboutYou

- Experience indelivering and supervising cultural programs and working withchildren and young people within the community
- Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills with demonstratedability to build relationship with stakeholders including youngpeople from diverse backgrounds
- Effective timemanagement and organisational skills with a demonstratedability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Demonstratedability to work autonomously and as part of a team, which mayinclude working in remote communities
- Intermediateskills in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel,Outlook)
- Hold a lightrigid driver's licence and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (orability to obtain)
- Current FirstAid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)
