This is a 12 month full time, fixed term role with a salary range of VPS 4.1 $100,894 - $114,476 + 12% super.
The Associate Network Engineer role will require you to support networking infrastructure for Cenitex customers. You will resolve networking issues at customer sites and be involved in project and change requests to ensure that networking devices are configured to the highest standards.
What you'll be involved in:
- Identifying and resolving logical network infrastructure issues at customer sites
- Installing,
commissioningand decommissioningnetwork infrastructureequipment
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance on networking infrastructure
- Creating and implementingnetwork changesforprojectsandnormal operations
- Communicating with customers, network engineers, andthird-partysupportvendors
You’ll need to have:
- Experience working with networkingtechnologiessuch as
- Routing and switching
- Wireless
- Firewalls
- Software DefinedWAN (e.g. Meraki)
- Network monitoringtools such asSolarWinds
- Abilitytoclearlycommunicate at all levelsof the businessandwiththird-partysupport vendors
- Be apositive and contributingmember ofaprofessional facilities networking team
- Willing to be part of an after-hours on call roster
- Available to work AH including weekends to support customer network migrations
