Our client is a leading Australian law firm with a highly respected Insolvency & Commercial Litigation practice. Working closely with highly regarded Partners, you will play a key role in managing complex matters, developing client relationships and mentoring junior lawyers in a supportive and high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Advising insolvency practitioners, creditors, directors and corporate clients on a broad range of insolvency and restructuring matters.
n
- Managing and running commercial litigation matters through all stages of the litigation process, including strategy, pleadings, discovery, evidence preparation and enforcement.
n
- Acting in corporate insolvencies,
liquidations, voluntary administrations and receiverships.
n
- Advising on voidable transactions, insolvent trading claims, director duties and recovery actions.
n
- Appearing in and managing matters before superior courts and tribunals, including coordinating with counsel and experts.
n
- Building strong client relationships while supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
n
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- 3-5 years' PAE in insolvency, restructuring and/or commercial litigation gained within a reputable private practice environment.
n
- Strong technical skills and experience managing complex litigation and insolvency matters.
n
- Excellent drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills.
n
- The ability to confidently manage matters and client relationships with a high degree of autonomy.
n
- Strong commercial acumen and a practical, solutions-focused approach to providing legal advice.
n
- A team-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers.
