We are seeking an experienced, hardworking and practical couple to join our established team in the ongoing care and operation of two beautiful properties.

n

This is a full‐time position for both partners, with above-award wages, self‐contained one-bedroom accommodation and utilities provided.

n

Not suitable for children or pets.

n

We are looking for a couple who take genuine pride in their work, enjoy being busy and are confident working both independently and as part of a team.

ABOUT THE PROPERTIES

n

Graysons Estate is a large rural property incorporating luxury accommodation, gardens, entertaining areas, recreational facilities and extensive grounds. It is used for private groups, retreats and accommodation, so presentation and attention to detail are extremely important.

n

Freshwater Creek Cottages will be your base, with your accommodation provided on-site. The property includes seven self‐contained cottages and is currently undergoing an exciting rebrand, with a new hospitality business planned for the future.

n

You will play an important role in maintaining both properties and ensuring they are consistently presented to a high standard.

n

THE ROLE

n

The position is varied, practical and hands‐on. Both partners will contribute across the operation, with responsibilities including:

n

High‐end cleaning and housekeeping

n

Preparing accommodation for guests

n

Laundry and linen management

n

Gardening and grounds maintenance

n

General property maintenance and repairs

n

Pool and outdoor area care

n

Maintaining gardens, entertaining areas and facilities

n

Guest arrivals and departures

n

Assisting guests with reasonable requests

n

Responding to last‐minute requirements

n

General property upkeep and presentation

n

Assisting with projects and improvements

n





No two days will necessarily be the same.

n

We need people who are comfortable rolling up their sleeves, identifying what needs to be done and getting on with it.

n

You do not need experience in every area.

Attitude, initiative, work ethic and common sense are more important to us than having the perfect résumé.

THIS IS A HANDS‐ON POSITION

n

We want to be upfront about the nature of the role.

n

This is not a live‐in position where accommodation is provided in exchange for doing the minimum amount of work.

n

It is a busy, hands‐on role where things sometimes need to happen quickly.

n

We are looking for people who:

See something that needs doing — and get it done.

You should be able to work without constant supervision, solve practical problems, respond to changing priorities and take responsibility for the overall presentation of the properties.

If guests are arriving and something needs attention, we need you to recognise it and sort it out.
